Job management for electricians
Job management software built around the certificate
Most job management apps treat certificates as an add-on. CircuitHQ starts from the electrical work: the job, the certificates, the quote, the invoice and the supplier bills all live in one place, built by a working electrician.
- Jobs, quotes, invoices, POs and bills
- BS 7671 certificates linked to the job
- Scheduler and timesheets for the team
- Xero for invoices, bills and contacts
Everything on the job
Jobs
Statuses from Pending to Invoiced, with tabs for notes and files, time, costs (cost, sell, VAT and profit), invoices, quotes, bills, POs, appointments and the linked certificates.
Quotes
Create quotes and track them as sent, accepted or declined, then turn an accepted quote into an invoice.
Invoices
Invoice from the job's costs and time or from an accepted quote: in full, as a deposit or as a % progress invoice. Record payments and download the PDF.
Supplier bills
Upload supplier invoice PDFs, up to 25 at once, and AI reads them into draft bills for you to review. A PDF with several invoices is split into one bill each.
Purchase orders
Raise and track purchase orders against the job.
Certificates
EICR, EIC, Minor Works, Solar PV and PAT certificates on the job, with AI that fills the empty circuit fields from a photo of the board.
Run the team
Scheduler
A weekly calendar of appointments with a staff filter.
Timesheets
Timer or manual entries, billable flag and rates. Staff see only their own.
Roles and permissions
Admin, Office, Electrician and Read-only roles, with each area ticked per person. Checked on the server on every request.
Dashboard
Today's appointments, overdue and draft invoices, quotes awaiting a reply, draft bills and completed jobs not yet invoiced.
Lead Finder
Spots repeat work in your own records, such as EICRs and landlord certificates coming due, PAT retests and unquoted observations.
Moving from Tradify
Import customers, sites, suppliers, jobs, the price list, invoices and quotes from Tradify export files, with a preview and duplicate protection.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- It doesn't email quotes, invoices or certificates to customers. You download the PDF and send it yourself
- There's no customer portal, online quote acceptance or e-signing
- The price list has markup and supplier price-file import, but no stock levels
- Xero is the only accounting link
- There are two reports: sales by month and money owed by customer
- It works on poor signal and syncs when you're back online. Native Android and iOS apps are coming soon.
If you need those things today, a general field service app may suit you better. See our fair comparisons with Tradify, Fergus and ServiceM8.

Questions
What is electrician job management software?+
It's software that keeps a job's quote, schedule, time, materials, invoice and paperwork in one place. CircuitHQ adds the BS 7671 certificates, PAT, solar MCS paperwork and DNO forms to the same job.
Does CircuitHQ link to accounting software?+
Yes, to Xero. Invoices and bills go to Xero, payment status (paid, part paid or void) comes back, and customer and supplier contacts sync both ways. Xero is the only accounting link.
Can my team use it?+
Yes. Solo is £29 a month + VAT for one user, with up to 3 extra users at £15 + VAT each. Team is £79 a month + VAT for 5 users and Business is £179 a month + VAT for 20 users. Every feature is on every plan.
Can I move my data from Tradify?+
Yes. CircuitHQ imports customers, sites, suppliers, jobs, the price list, invoices and quotes from Tradify export files, with a preview, column mapping and duplicate protection.
Is there a phone app?+
CircuitHQ runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer, and it works on poor signal. Native Android and iOS apps are coming soon.
Can I try it?+
Yes. The 14-day free trial includes 50 AI reads and needs no card to start.
