Features
Everything in CircuitHQ
Everything here is live in the app today, and every feature is on every plan.
Certificates
Produce EICR, EIC, Minor Works, PV and PAT certificates as PDFs on your phone, in the familiar BS 7671 layout, updated for BS 7671:2018+A4:2026.
Every certificate type
EICR, EIC, Minor Works, PV test report, PV commissioning sheet and PAT, all on the job.
Draft, complete, issued
Mark complete warns you about missing signatures and dates. Issued certificates are locked, and reopening one is logged.
Check cert and Fill blanks
Checks for missing or inconsistent entries and spelling, with one-tap fixes. It helps you spot gaps; it doesn't guarantee compliance.
Sign on screen
Sign on the phone or tablet at the end of the job.
EICR observations
C1, C2, C3 and FI observations feed the overall result. The next inspection date is set for you, or you can set it by hand.
Saved circuits and clients
Reuse design details for circuits and clients. Test results are never reused.
Regulation updates, always free
When BS 7671 or the forms change, we update CircuitHQ and you never pay extra for it.
Schedule editing
Move, drag and renumber circuit rows on the schedule, with searchable dropdowns.
Test instruments and spellcheck
Your test instruments are filled in for you, with a UK English spellcheck that knows electrical words.
PAT retest dates
Each PAT item has a retest interval (12 months by default) and a next retest date, both printed on the PAT report. Retests coming due are flagged in Lead Finder.
PV commissioning photos
Photos with categories and captions, plus a handover checklist.
Certificates aren't official IET, NICEIC or NAPIT forms.

AI reading
Take a photo or add a document and CircuitHQ fills in what it can for you to check. AI values are marked in amber.
Board photos
Fills the empty circuit fields from a photo of the board.
Panel and inverter plates
Reads PV panel labels and inverter rating plates.
PAT tester display
Reads your PAT tester's display from a photo and fills in the results for you to check.
Old certificates
Import an old certificate PDF. It reads every page in parts, so big multi-board certificates come in, with three-phase circuit rows and board references. A 'What was imported' review lists any missed pages and flagged rows to check.
Supplier invoices
Reads supplier invoice PDFs into bills, up to 25 files at once, and you review them first.
Datasheets
Reads datasheets for panels, rails and hooks into the roof design product library.
AI reading isn't always accurate and doesn't replace testing. It doesn't read multifunction tester screens; the PAT tester display is the only tester screen it reads.
Jobs, quotes and money
Every job keeps its notes, files, time, costs, quotes, invoices, bills, purchase orders, appointments and certificates together.
Jobs
Statuses from Pending to Invoiced or Cancelled, with tabs for notes and files, time, costs (cost, sell, VAT and profit), invoices, quotes, bills, purchase orders, appointments and linked certificates.
Quotes
Create quotes and track them as sent, accepted or declined.
Invoices
Raise invoices from job costs and time or an accepted quote, in full, as a progress percentage or as a deposit. Record payments and download the PDF.
Bills
Supplier invoice PDFs are read into bills for you to review. Built-in readers for Edmundson (EEL) and Medlock invoices don't use AI reads; other suppliers use one AI read per invoice. A PDF holding several invoices is split into one bill per invoice, with duplicate and VAT checks. Upload up to 25 invoice files at once, with progress for each file and one combined review. Pick the supplier, or add a new one, for one bill or all of them. Supplier CSV import, and turn a supplier quote into a draft customer quote.
Purchase orders
Raise purchase orders against the job.
Price list
Your price list with markup, and supplier price file CSV import.
Xero
Send invoices and bills to Xero. Payment status (paid, part paid or void) comes back from Xero when you open the app or press Sync. Customer and supplier contacts sync both ways, with a matching wizard you review the first time.

Company branding
Logo, colours, company details, registration numbers, bank details, terms, reference prefixes and signature, with a setup wizard.
Enquiries and Lead Finder
In the Leads menu, for admins and anyone given permission. Spots repeat work in your own records: EICRs and landlord certificates coming due, PAT retests due, unquoted observations, solar customers without a battery, old consumer units and EV upsells. Also planning-application search, a letter PDF or a draft email to copy into your own mail, and an enquiry form for your own website. CircuitHQ never emails or texts your customers.
Solar PV and MCS
A guided 13-stage MCS pipeline for each solar job, with clause-referenced checklists (MIS 3002 Issue 6.0).
13-stage MCS pipeline
Survey on your headed paper, design, estimate with sun path, quote, RECC contract with cancellation form, installation, MCS certificate registration record, feedback and handover pack. The MCS certificate itself comes from MCS or your certification body.
Reminders in the app
Cooling-off, G98 28 days, G99, Building Regs 21 days, MCS registration, feedback and document expiries. Reminders show in the app; they aren't emailed.
QMS registers and assessment export
QMS registers, an assessment-ready view, and an assessment export with register CSVs.
Roof design
Roof design with a product library. AI reads datasheets for panels, rails and hooks; inverter and battery datasheets aren't read.
DNO paperwork
Start a DNO application from a solar job, with the customer details filled in. Prepares G98/G99/G100 notification and application paperwork from your job details, including G100 export limitation details. For G98 and G99 solar and battery applications where every device is on the ENA device register, and EV chargers, under 17kW per phase, you review the application and submit it to ENA Connect Direct from the app. For anything else, check the paperwork and submit it to the DNO yourself: open a draft email to the DNO in your own mail program and attach the pack; CircuitHQ doesn't send the email.
Single line diagram and site plan
A single line diagram drawn from the devices, with a title block and check flags. A site and location plan on an OpenStreetMap base, with the boundary, equipment markers, north arrow and scale, and a slot for the cut-out photo.
DNO applications menu
DNO applications have their own menu. Start one from any job, any customer, or on its own, and see them all in one list with a Source column.
ENA register lookup
Look up devices on the ENA register. It searches for inverters, batteries and other generation devices, and fills in the ENA reference, compliance status, kW, phases and G98/G99 type-test status where the field is blank, for you to check.
DNO application tracking
Track every DNO application in one place, with statuses, dated history, locked numbered packs, and an applications list with overdue highlighting and CSV export.
Direct submission to ENA Connect Direct is live for G98 and G99 solar and battery applications where every device is on the ENA device register, and EV chargers, under 17kW per phase. You review the application and submit it from the app. G100 or export-limited setups, and changes to existing applications, still use the prepared forms and a draft email to the DNO, which you check and send yourself. CircuitHQ isn't endorsed by MCS, NAPIT, RECC, the ENA or any DNO, and its forms aren't official ENA forms. In the demo, the ENA register lookup and the site plan map are off (a plain plan is offered).

Phone app and your data
Install the phone app from your browser. It works on poor signal: jobs you've already opened open without signal, edits sync when you're back online, and PDFs are built on the phone.
Works on poor signal
Some things still need signal: deleting, attachments, AI reads, the map, postcode lookup and the ENA register lookup.
Android and iOS apps: coming soon
Native Android and iOS apps are coming soon. Until then, CircuitHQ works in the browser on phones, tablets and PCs, and you can install the phone app from your browser.
Keeps your place
Opens on the Dashboard, with searchable drop-down lists, and keeps your place (scroll, open sections and filters) when you refresh or go Back.
Tradify import
Bring in customers, sites, suppliers, jobs, your price list, invoices and quotes from Tradify, with a preview, field mapping and no duplicates.
Exports
CSV exports of jobs and documents, and a full company export for the owner.
